Celebrating
Culture & the
Power of Storytelling

I’ve been telling stories for as long as I can remember—first as a kid in Grand Bahama, doing spot-on Steve Urkel impressions for my family, and now as a creative entrepreneur, storyteller, and international speaker. Stories have always been my way of making sense of the world, of finding connection, and of honoring the cultures that shape us.

As the youngest-ever Executive Director of Culture for The Bahamas, I had the incredible opportunity to reshape cultural initiatives on a national level, amplifying the voices and traditions that make our country so rich. That journey led to honors from the U.S. Senate, the California Legislature, and a spot on The Bahamas’ Top 40 Under 40 Most Influential Business People. But titles and accolades were never the goal—impact was.

That’s what The Soul Centre Podcast is all about. Through raw, soulful conversations, I dive deep into the lived experiences of people across the African, Caribbean, and Latin American diaspora. We laugh, we reflect, we heal—because storytelling is more than just words; it’s a bridge between us.

As the founder of the Bahamas Artist Movement (BAM), I’ve worked to empower creatives worldwide, using the arts to spark transformation and bring communities together. Now, through my work, my podcast, and my commitment to cultural storytelling, my mission is simple: to connect, uplift, and celebrate the voices that shape our world.

Because when we tell our stories, we claim our power. And that changes everything.
